Is Midnight/MU a faithful reproduction of Lords of Midnight?
No.
 
Midnight/MU uses the same graphics set of the original game, along with the original place names, map and many of the lords. However, Midnight/MU uses its own algorithms to calculate the various aspects of play such as recruitment, strength, courage, combat, etc.
 
In addition, Midnight/MU introduces a host of new characters.
 
Most importantly, whereas the original Lords of Midnight was single-player, Midnight/MU is a multiplayer game, opening up a whole new dimension of strategy for Midnight fans
